Terms and Conditions

  • MDS is a public fundraising activity conducted by Alliance for Smiles, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, to support its philanthropic services in developing countries.
  • No part of this website is granted ownership to any donor. When you “buy” pixel box(es), you are granted free use of pixel space equal to the value of your monetary donation. 
  • Minimum required donation to purchase a pixel box is $100 = 100 pixels = 1 pixel box on screen. A $10.00 minimum donation is required if donor chooses to donate without purchasing a pixel box. 
  • Maximum donation is whatever pixel box(es) are left on the pixel box page if donor chooses to purchase a pixex box.
  • Content will be posted within two working days after the donation has been received. 
  • Messages may be removed from the homepage (email request to remove@mdsonline.org) but removal does not entitle donor to a refund, and the pixel box(es) will become available for resale.
  • Donations will be acknowledged by granting donor pixel boxes on the pixel box page equal to their donation amount.
    Options for pixel box usage:
    • Personal message or link
    • Donate pixels back to Alliance for Smiles, Inc. for further fundraising  
    • Donations entitle participant to receive the Alliance for Smiles Newsletter as well as email updates. 
  • A separate page on the website lists donor’s names, companies and/or affiliations.
  • The homepage will exist continuously for a minimum of 5 years.
  • No obscene, offensive, or innapropriate messages or links will be accepted. Alliance for Smiles, Inc. reserves the right to determine if a message or link shall be considered obscene, offensive, or innapropriate. If such a link is submitted the donor will have 2 chances to re-submit a new message or link that is not considered obscene, offensive, or innapropriate. After that the donation will be refunded.
  • Links cannot be changed once they are accepted and posted on-line except for reasons such as termination of a site, legal reasons, or if the pixels are donated back to Alliance for Smiles, Inc. for re-selling.
  • If for whatever reason the donor wishes to be removed from the page, no refund will be granted, and the pixels will become publicly available. All rights are resumed by Alliance for Smiles, Inc.
  • Links provided must begin with http://
  • There may be occasional downtime for site maintenance and for other reason beyond our control and Alliance for Smiles will not be held liable for this inconvenience.
  • These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
